Kauai Wedding

Kauai wedding… basically an elopement. ALRIGHT GUYS, here’s my wedding! Ryan and I both envisioned something totally different about 6 years ago. I wanted a huge, lavish wedding. Ryan wanted a courthouse wedding. After years of being a wedding planner, a huge, lavish wedding sounded terrible. I know how hard it is to try and hang out with your guests, but also wanting to get the right photos taken, the right traditions to be done, all while trying to eat two bites of a meal, and going pee. Not. For. Me. I wanted to remember ever single detail of our day. We went to Kauai. 30 people went with us; our very closest friends, and immediate family. We made our bouquets and centerpieces–something I try to steer my clients away from, but I’m a pro so it felt okay 😉

Our vendors were fantastic. Our hair and makeup artist was faster than any other artist I’ve worked with. Pigment and Parchment made my vision come to life. I was #blessed that Sarah Kathleen was in Hawaii that same weekend, and was able to shoot our wedding. Ryan’s Uncle Ed married us in a really sweet, special ceremony. It thunder and lightninged right when dinner started–kind of magical after looking back. Enjoy your day, my friends.
